Frequently Asked Questions

  • When will my order ship out?

    Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday) and generally ship out in 1-7 business days depending on the season and availability of all the items in the order. If there will be a delay beyond 7 business days, Inspirations will contact you by email with details.

  • Where does my order ship from?

    Orders ship from multiple locations across Canada. So, your items may arrive in multiple deliveries for this reason. In the event that items from your order are shipping from different locations and therefore arriving separately, you will be advised by email.

  • What are the shipping options and costs?

    Shipping Options – At checkout you will be able to select Canada Post Expedited, Xpresspost or Priority Shipping. The shipping rates are based upon the weight of the package ( i.e how many items you are purchasing) and the distance the package is traveling. Please note that shipping speed does not include time processing and handling of the order.

    Inspirations offers a flat rate shipping of $27.00 to any location in the continental USA.

    FREE SHIPPING ACROSS CANADA – Place an online order of $150 or more (before taxes) and shipping is free. 

    The shipping rates above apply to orders being shipped complete.

  • How will my order ship?

    We ship using Canada Post.

  • How long does my order take to reach me?

    The shipping speeds and rates are automatically calculated at checkout. These speeds do not include the 1-7 business days processing time. Some products have longer processing times that will be listed in the description of the product. Once your order has shipped you will receive an email that includes a link where you can track the progress of your order.

    For our US customers, we have no control over how long it will take because of the order having to go through Canada customs. You will be able to track your package through Canada Post and USPS.

  • Do I have to be home to receive my order?

    No. Canada post will leave your package at your door or in your community maibox.

  • Has my order shipped?

    You will be advised by email once your order has shipped. Included in that email will be your tracking number so that you may monitor the progress of your package online at canadapost.ca if you so choose.

  • Are the prices online and in-store the same?

    The storefront in Kitchener, Ontario has closed. Therefore, promotions will only be valid online.

  • What if I cannot find what I am looking for?

    Please call 1 (877) 878-5479 and speak to one of our shopping partners or send us an email with what you are looking for. We have access to 1000s of dancewear items and our mission is to find you what you are looking for. We are here to help.

  • Can I order online and pick up in the store?

    The storefront in Kitchener, Ontario has closed. Because of this, orders can only be shipped. Please see our Shopping Options page.

  • What is the return policy?

    Our return policy, for online purchases, is available on our Refund Policy page.

  • Can I return my online purchase in-store?

    The storefront in Kitchener, Ontario has closed. Therefore, purchases cannot be returned in-store. Please see our Return Policy for details for online purchase returns.

  • Did my order go through?

    You will receive an email confirming your order has been sent through for processing. If you have not received that confirmation email your order was not successfully placed.

  • Can I use my store credit for an online purchase?

    Since the storefront in Kitchener, Ontario closed all previous gift cards and store credits are no longer valid.

    Previously, our policy was that we were not yet set up to accept Inspirations in-store gift cards and in-store credits for online purchases. Our online gift cards also cannot be used for in-person purchases in our store. This is an unfortunate limitation of our systems.

  • Is my credit card information safe to purchase on the website?

    Your information is absolutely safe and secure. Inspirations Dancewear is PCI compliant and we use the secure, industry-certified processing services of Shopify Payments for our processing gateway.

    If you are generally uncomfortable entering your credit card online you can always call our helpful sales associates to complete your transaction over the phone. To make it even easier you can add to your cart all the products you want and email the cart to us from the check out page. This way our staff can see exactly what you want to order.
