The procedures for returns of in-store purchases vs. online purchases are slightly different. Please follow the return procedures that apply to how you placed your order.


Online Purchases

We gladly accept product returns for refund (less shipping and handling) within 30 days for most items. Items need to be unworn and in original condition. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.

Final Sale Items

Most items we sell can be returned. However, there are some exceptions including these final sale items:

  • Clearance items (with prices ending in .67)
  • Custom or special order items
  • Gift or holiday seasonal items
  • Hair accessories, jewelry and Make-up
  • Opened packages of tights
  • Undergarments and other personal items

If the item you purchased matches any of the criteria above, it is final sale. Please do not send it back to us!

How to Return an Item For Refund

By Mail

Include a copy of your order in the package. This information allows us to identify the sender and process the return. Package your return in a box or envelope and securely seal it. Be sure to cover up any old shipping labels or barcodes.

In Store

Come into our store to return your item. Make sure you have a copy of your order to give to a staff member. Please note, In store returns take a few business days to process.

Exchange

To make an exchange, follow the same steps as you would for a refund. Then, place an order for the replacement item you want. Pay for the replacement, and we’ll issue you a refund once we get your return.

Because our products do sell out, we recommend that you place your order for the replacement item right away to avoid disappointment.

Orders Paid for In-Store & Shipped to You

Due to the formatting of our credit card processing system, items purchased in our retail location must be returned in-store and not via mail. The payment method used on the purchase must be refunded in-person.

Easy Returns

For applicable orders you can use the Canada Post label we included with your order. Fill it out with your info and drop the package at the nearest mail box or depot. A $7 fee will be deducted from your refund.

In-Store Purchases

We gladly accept returns for exchange, store credit or refund within 21 days of purchase for most items when accompanied by a store receipt, proof of payment, and item is unworn and in original condition.

If you paid by cash or gift card

You’ll need your itemized store receipt to receive a full refund.

If you paid by credit or debit card

You’ll need three items to receive a full refund:

  1. Your itemized store receipt;
  2. Your payment receipt;
  3. The card the payment was made on.

Store Credit

Missing the payment receipt and/or card will result in a store credit being issued for the full amount. If the store receipt is missing, an in-store credit at the last sale or promotional price can be offered.

Tights

Regular stocked tights can be exchanged when in UNOPENED and un-torn packaging and accompanied by a receipt. Tights without a proof of purchase, or that were not purchased within the last 21 days are not eligible for exchange or store credit.

Final Sale Items

The following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned at any time:

  • Custom made or special order items
  • Final sale markdown merchandise (with prices ending in .67)
  • Gift items and Holiday seasonal items
  • Hair accessories
  • Jewelry and Make-up
  • Opened packages of tights
  • Undergarments and other personal items

Manufacturer Warranties

Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and type of product. If you believe the product you have purchased through Inspirations Dancewear has a manufacturer’s defect, contact us immediately. Inspirations’ is committed to ensuring products function the way they are supposed to. We will deal with the manufacturer on your behalf. It is important you contact us without delay so that we will be equipped to best serve you, as many manufacturer warranties have limitations on time since purchase and wear and tear.
